The IMx module supports miscellaneous receipts, issues, opening balance and adjustments. Accounting and reason codes can be applied to the transactions for tracking purposes.
Although miscellaneous transactions have their place, inventory is usually received and issued against a controlling document, such as a purchase order, customer order, warehouse transfer, manufacturing order, RMA or other WCS supported function.  Each of these receipts have their own function in WMx module.
